An ordained minister, Evans spoke to the students about the play, its significance, and how excited she was to have the students at JCSU presenting the North Carolina premiere of the play.

Part of the university's Lyceum series, A Change Gonna Come will be presented at First Baptist Church-West on April 8th and 9th at 7:30 p.m.

The event will be held at 1:45 p.m. inside Grimes Lounge located in the Mary Joyce Taylor Crisp Student Union on campus. Light refreshments will be served.
