Kristen Reynolds received the second place award for best poster at the 7th Annual Virginia Tech Undergraduate Research and Prospective Graduate Student Conference on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, Blacksburg, Virginia. The title of Ms. Reynolds poster was "Determination of Energy Requirements for P-glycoprotein."
Sponsored by the Center for Academic Enrichment and Excellence, the Virginia Tech Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, the Virginia Tech Division of Research, and the Graduate School, the conference offered a professional forum for undergraduates from Virginia Tech and other schools to showcase their involvement in research and creative scholarship and gain essential information relevant to their pursuit of graduate study.
