Women: Protecting Yourself From Attack

The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a Martial Arts program. Our courses are taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors and provide each student with a workbook/reference manual. This manual outlines the entire Physical Defense Program for reference and continuous personal growth, and is the key to our free lifetime return and practice policy for R.A.D. graduates.

AND IT'S COMING TO JCSU!

The courses at JCSU are free and are taught by certified R.A.D. instructors whose initial focus is on education and awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance of assault and rape that then progresses to the basics of hands-on defense training. Instructors provide a workbook/reference manual and hands-on training. The R.A.D. system is dedicated to teaching defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault by utilizing easy, effective, and proven self-defense/martial arts tactics. It will provide the knowledge to make an educated decision about resistance. The program is designed primarily for women and is suitable of all ages and abilities.

To learn more about the program go to the R.A.D. website:
